  "body": "# NYSE adds Broadridge, Computershare, Equiniti and Superstate to its tokenized stock plans\n\n*The four join Securitize and tZERO, bringing the group to six, as the exchange's tokenized securities venue remains without a launch date and awaits regulatory approval.*\n\nThe New York Stock Exchange added Broadridge, Computershare, Equiniti and Superstate as transfer agent partners for its planned tokenized securities platform on November 2, 2026, bringing the group to six alongside Securitize and tZERO. The partners will support issuer-sponsored tokenized securities, according to NYSE.\n\nBroadridge, Computershare and Equiniti together serve nearly 5,000 publicly listed companies, including almost 99% of the S&P 500, NYSE said. The platform has no confirmed launch date and remains subject to regulatory approval.\n\nNYSE, part of Intercontinental Exchange, [announced in January](https://ir.theice.com/press/news-details/2026/The-New-York-Stock-Exchange-Develops-Tokenized-Securities-Platform/default.aspx) that it was developing a venue for trading and on-chain settlement of tokenized securities. The exchange described 24/7 operations, instant settlement, orders sized in dollar amounts, fractional share trading and stablecoin-based funding. The design combines NYSE's Pillar matching engine with blockchain-based post-trade systems across multiple chains for settlement and custody.\n\nTokenized shares would be fungible with traditionally issued securities and carry traditional dividends and governance rights, the exchange said.\n\n[Broadridge said](https://www.broadridge.com/press-release/2026/broadridge-to-bring-onchain-governance-and-digital-transfer-agency) on November 2, 2026 that NYSE will use its governance smart contracts to link tokenized securities to meeting agendas, voting rules and verifiable results. The framework supports proxy material distribution and digital wallet authentication tied to verified voting entitlements. Investors could vote through supported wallets, broker interfaces or ProxyVote.\n\nBroadridge's digital transfer agency service would let NYSE-listed issuers tokenize their stock for trading on the platform, the company said.\n\n\"Broadridge is building the governance layer for tokenized equities,\" said Tim Gokey, CEO of Broadridge. \"We're also making it easier for issuers to participate by bringing our digital and traditional transfer agency services and proxy voting capabilities together in one solution,\" Gokey said.\n\nLynn Martin, president of NYSE Group, said: \"Tokenization has the potential to transform the manner in which issuers interact with their shareholders.\"\n\nNYSE and Securitize signed a memorandum of understanding in March 2026, and NYSE reached an agreement with tZERO in August 2026, according to Crypto Briefing.\n\nBroadridge said its governance platform serves issuer-listed tokenized securities, synthetic securities issued outside the United States and third-party tokenized shares within the United States. The company said the platform is designed to give investors the same rights and protections regardless of how assets are structured or owned.\n\nBroadridge's tokenization platform, DLX, spans issuance, trading, financing, settlement and servicing, according to the company. Its Distributed Ledger Repo solution tokenizes more than $360 billion a day, Broadridge said.",
